Security is an important aspect of online communication, which is why we all need to feel secure and know that private information we share through our different social media accounts is rigorously protected.

As one of the largest social media platforms involving peer-to-peer interactions, WhatsApp has been a big target of hackers with diverse ill-intentions.

For that reason, though there is not yet any textbook knowledge on this topic, we are going to show you some of the basic details you can rely on to know your WhatsApp has been hacked.

What we hadn’t done is show you some of the basic pieces of information that can give you clues to know your WhatsApp has been hacked.

1. Increase in temperature of your phone

When your phone heats up suddenly, this may be due to a spyware that is running in your phone.

However, it can also be due to the overwhelming number of strong applications that are running in the background.

That being said, if the above starts happening and you notice a change in the behavior of your WhatsApp application, you need to check where the problem is.

There are many other reasons as to why your phone could heat up but always take a step to know where the problem arising from.

2. Battery dies faster while using mobile data

Sometimes when your phone’s battery drains faster than usual when using mobile internet or Wi-Fi, it could most likely be that you have a spyware running in your phone without your consent.

Or, ordinarily, you could be having a weak battery. However, the weak battery concern can be questionable if you have a new device. It is also better to check it out.
