SafeBoda Kenya has unveiled a new promotion where customers will get a 50% discount on every trip.

The promotion, however, applies only to people using the cashless payment option.

SafeBoda allows its users to pay with either cash or mobile money.

The company is, however, trying to encourage its customers to embrace cashless payments since they eliminate things like having to look for change when a customer pays with a huge banknote and being diddled.

In Kenya, SafeBoda faces competition from Taxify, Uber, Busy Boda, SavvyRiders, Juu Boda among others.
